Sure. I take a couple of days to take care of other things and don't keep up on the blogosphere and when I return, I find this.

Bonege! One of the greatest things about Esperanto is that Esperantists are a talkative bunch. It isn't hard to find someone online who will talk to you in Esperanto.

I was about to suggest visiting the Esperanto-USA website (http://esperanto-usa.org/), when I realized that I'm really not in a position to recommend which websites are most useful for learning Esperanto. I learned it from a variety of tools:

1) The free 10 lesson e-mail course. I do recommend it.
2) The beginner's book Gerda Malaperis.
3) Some discussion and a lot of reading on the soc.culture.esperanto newsgroup.
4) Teach Yourself Esperanto. This book was useful and I did learn a lot from it, but it didn't drive home the agglutinative nature of Esperanto and what that means to the student in terms of building vocabulary.
5) Conversations with local Esperantists.

That last item is a good reason to contact Esperanto-USA. They may be able to put you in contact with Esperantists in your area.
