Today I have a few short announcements about upcoming travel. As many of you already know, I'm on a mission to see all 50 states of the US. (If you don't already know, you can look at my bucket list and see what I'm up to.)
My original intention was to complete them all by the end of next year, but as a result of some unexpected events (mostly good), it looks like I'm going to succeed in having visited all of the 48 continental states by the end of next month, leaving me only Hawaii and Alaska to visit in 2011.
Of course if you've seen the map, you know that 10 states remain, so as you can imagine, I've got a wild December planned:
|Dec 1||St. Louis, Missouri|
|Dec 2||Little Rock, Arkansas|
|Dec 3||Dallas, Texas|
|Dec 4||Austin, Texas|
|Dec 5||San Antonio, Texas|
|Dec 6||Dallas, Texas|
|Dec 7-8||Albuquerque & Santa Fe, New Mexico|
|Dec 9||Oklahoma City, Oklahoma|
|Dec 10||Kansas City, Missouri|
|Dec 14||Los Angeles, California|
|Dec 15-16||Portland, Oregon|
|Dec 17-19||Long Beach California|
The reason I'm sharing all of this with you is because I want to meet up with you! If any of you live in or near any of those cities and would like to get together with me for coffee or tea (or for a fist fight in the parking lot to settle the flashcard debate, LOL!), please let me know.
Also, if any of you know of any Russian or Italian language meetups that coincide with any of those locations and dates, please share.
And last (but not least) I will be celebrating my 35th birthday in Portland on December 15th, so I'll be happy to let you buy me a drink if you're in the area. This is the perfect time to get me drunk and lower my defenses so you and your friends can beat me up in the parking lot for what I said about flashcards.

I listed them here.
